When you are looking for a veterinary clinic, you should be able to count on superior care and excellent service. We at Bear River Mobile Veterinary Service, Inc. in Grass Valley, CA, have assembled an expert team of veterinary professionals to bring you the best possible healthcare for your pet.
Once a year, all animals should have a yearly check up performed. This is generally done in the comfort of your own home or farm. This will include a full physical exam, and will give you an opportunity to discuss any questions that you may have at that time with our veterinarians. Vaccinations, dental examinations, and any other preventative care procedures can be performed at this time. Call 530-559-8910 to schedule an appointment and we will find a time that is convenient for you.
If you are a new client, please bring any medical history that you might have for each animal. It's best to keep records of your pet's health throughout his or her life, including behavioral shifts. If you have something like this, share it with our team. If not, let us know everything that you think will be important. Our veterinarians can still work with whatever information you have.
If you have an emergency, please call our emergency number at 530-559-3579. You will be able to discuss your animal’s problem with the doctor on call, and we can help you determine if a visit is needed. We do our best to handle emergencies as soon as we can. Our experienced veterinarians will provide your animals with the help they need, and help you to understand what is going on as well.
We are an ambulatory service and most calls are able to be serviced at your farm or home. We also have a location available for you to bring animals in when needed, but we are not a full service hospital. In some circumstances, our veterinarians may refer you and your animal to a specialist who has advanced expertise in areas such as internal medicine or surgery, or to a full service hospital. We are grateful to have several fabulous critical care centers nearby to help us with more challenging or debilitated cases.
